Scottish Highlands

If you are keen to escape to a location boasting ultimate peace with the most awe inspiring scenery then this one is for you, the highlands have a wealth of beautiful landscapes from the wild coastline of the Outer Hebrides heading back toward the incredibly dramatic Isle of Skye. Ease yourself into country life by embracing the mountainous regions of Glencoe and Glen Nevis, don’t forget the quintessential Loch Ness. Whilst visiting towns and villages along the way be sure to stop for lunch to enjoy a warming bowl of cullen skink or a fish supper. Yorkshire Dales

One that many can overlook as it is on the eastern side of the seductive Lake District, however breath taking Yorkshire is abundant in wildlife with gorgeous vast scenery and dramatic landscapes boasting three national parks. It is a never ending journey of incredible winding roads lined by dry stone walls, with little squared meadows leading to small quaint villages with traditional yellow stone cottages boasting that cottage life with beautiful flourishing gardens. Oxford

If you want a beautiful city break bursting with culture and elegance, visit Oxford and take a stroll through the picturesque university parks toward the city centre, embrace the beautiful riverside walks. Take advantage of the abundance of shops, especially the historic covered market for that ultimate romantic weekend.

Cornwall

It is defined by its magnificent coastline with hundreds of miles of dunes and cliffs, medieval harbours and oak forested creeks and everything is accessible by foot. Bring your four legged friend and wander through the fringed wildflower meadows, visit a peaceful remote beach and scramble down stepping stones to rockpools below, or dive into the surf with a board and wetsuit.

Norfolk

Devon

The Cotswolds

If you ask anyone to think of the English countryside, chances are it’ll be the Cotswolds. It is spread over hundreds of beautifully green and scenic squares miles straddling Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Warwickshire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire. If you want that typical countryside vibe stick to Gloucestershire and immerse yourself in the natural world, with some of the most spectacular walking routes in the country and an array of quaint villages home to the traditional honey coloured stone cottages, you won’t want to leave.

Winchester

It is the perfect base for exploring Hampshire, it is a beautiful historic city with a strikingly beautiful cathedral, accompanied with a wealth of luxury shops and restaurants; whilst still having mother nature at every turn, you can escape into the country during the day and return to the comforting city for supper.

Bath
