Women's Gloves & Mittens

A glove is designed to have separate fingers and a thumb; whereas a mitten has one section for all of your fingers and only a separate thumb. The advantage with gloves is that they allow you to use your fingers easily when worn. However, mittens are generally warmer as your fingers generate more heat when touching together. Here at Lambland we offer lots of different gloves and mittens, and you should be able to find a style to meet your needs.

To find your glove size spread your fingers then measure around the palm of your hand with with a tape measure. Spreading your fingers will allow for a comfortable fit and help prevent the gloves becoming overly tight in everyday use.

Sheepskin gloves tend to be softer, lighter and more loose-fitting than leather gloves, however they do require more care should they get wet or stained. Sheepskin retains the wool from the sheep which has excellent insulating properties, helping to keep you warm.

Leather gloves offer strength and flexibility with a good grip which make them excellent for driving. They offer a more snug fit than sheepskin gloves but can be broken in. They are easy to care for and much more resistant to dirt and water than sheepskin gloves.
