The Blue Ball Inn – Countisbury
Dating back to the 13th century, the Blue Ball Inn is one of the area's best-loved traditional coaching inns. Located between Lynton and Lynmouth, it's perfectly placed for walkers exploring the Valley of Rocks or the South West Coast Path.
Inside you'll find exposed beams, open fires and a warm welcome, while outside there's a lovely beer garden with stunning countryside views. The menu features classic pub favourites alongside local ales and West Country ciders.
Whether you're stopping for lunch or enjoying a relaxed evening meal after a day's walking, it's a fantastic place to unwind.
The Rising Sun – Lynmouth
Situated beside the River Lyn in the heart of picturesque Lynmouth, The Rising Sun combines centuries of history with excellent food and hospitality.
Its waterside setting makes it one of the most photographed pubs in North Devon, while the menu showcases locally sourced produce wherever possible. It's an ideal place to relax after exploring the harbour, taking a ride on the famous cliff railway or walking through Watersmeet.

The Hunters Inn – Heddon Valley
Hidden deep within the spectacular Heddon Valley, The Hunters Inn is one of Exmoor's most iconic countryside pubs.
