A sheepskin rug is the hide of a sheep with the fleece (or pelt) intact. The fleece is in it’s natural state and becomes permanently fixed to the skin during the tanning process. Sheepskin rugs can be sold in their natural colour or artificially dyed producing a great array of colours.
