Situated in the lovely harbour area of Ilfracombe, this charming 19th century terraced cottage has been stylishly renovated to a high standard and retains many original features. Approached from a private gated lane there are a few steps up to the pretty front terrace and entrance door. The spacious light and bright living/dining room features oak beams, panelled walls and has an attractive brick fireplace housing a coal effect electric fire, ideal for cosy evenings. Having an elevated position it benefits from a great view over the harbourside towards Hillsborough and you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast whilst watching the world go by! The modern well equipped kitchen is fitted in cream with beech worktops and a small breakfast bar. As may be expected in a property of this age the family bathroom is on the ground floor and has a pristine white suite. An open staircase leads up to the bedrooms, a beautifully presented double with an ensuite shower room and a comfortable twin. Ideally located close to the seashore Quay Cottage is within walking distance of all that this popular resort has to offer and is a perfect base for exploring the nearby rugged coastal paths and natural beauty of Exmoor National Park.
