Since the hit of the pandemic in 2020, the importance of supporting local and smaller independent businesses has become prevalent in our local area and in other areas around the UK. Whilst everything went a bit quiet, we decided to review the local area in more detail and open up a search to find other craftsmen and women who we could work with and as a result, give support.

Since we started our search, we are pleased to introduce some new beautiful gifts to our website and seafront shop in Ilfracombe from several stockists who were happy to also work with us. Over the years Lambland have been able to offer a broader range of luxury homeware to compliment our existing core products which are mostly used, within the home. Our latest collection is from a local Devon artist who gets her inspiration from the surrounding Devonshire coastline and countryside; we always make sure that any new stockist shares similar values to ourselves, Michelle & Kate are very aware and considerate of their environmental impact and their beautiful designs are printed onto the best quality and ethically sourced materials as possible which we love.

Our shop in Ilfracombe Harbour has had a little revamp in places and the beautiful designs from them are now proudly on display and we’ve had a great response from customers, it is lovely to support another independent business especially one that is local and the core inspiration for their beautiful work is the landscape that surrounds us.

If you want a focal point for the home, something distinctive and eco-friendly then have a look at our collection on the website from dolly hot dogs, we have a wonderful selection of kitchenware such as oven gloves, tea towels, aprons, coasters, chopping boards along with enamel mugs and cushions.
