It feels like a very long time that we’ve had to wait for our drop of winter stock, with so much happening this year we, like many others have experienced first hand the complications of Brexit along with Covid adding fuel to the fire, it has not been an easy couple of years to say the least.
Due to the changes with import duty we have found a lot of scheduled shipments have become delayed for very long periods, along with having to navigate the new customs regulations. Fortunately, we have a very loyal base of customers who were understanding of these complications and this was really comforting for us. It is so joyous to know we have those who return to us time and time again, even through those difficult periods.
The majority of our footwear is produced in Britain, but we also remain loyal to our workshops over in Europe, we have two that we work closely with in Sweden and Portugal, their skill and craftsmanship is unbeatable and we find our customers agree.
Our two stockists in Europe produce a wonderful variety of beautiful luxurious sheepskin bootie style slippers, we tend to have more designs created with a hard outer sole, they use a soft gum rubber sole underfoot which is lightweight and durable. Our recent shipment has a great variation of styles which are all made with beautiful merino sheepskin, we have child sizes available along with adults.
