With over 60 years’ of experience in the sheepskin trade we have visited and worked with many workshops and tanneries in the UK, we have supported one another throughout the years and we are proud that we still have a great working relationship with many of them now. Our range of British made footwear is growing year on year and we now have a large selection of leather and sheepskin slippers in various shades and styles. Inspired by the natural raw colours of Exmoor National Park from the earthy tones of flora and fauna, to the seasonal vivid colours of the moorland heather and gorse on our mighty sea cliffs, the place we call home.
At Lambland, we only work with the finest leather sheepskin, our British footwear is mostly crafted in the West Country and the traditional moccasin continues to be an absolute favourite. Recently, we introduced our earthing moccasin, these are crafted using only natural sustainable leather, there is no artificial interference between the moccasin and a person’s foot, allowing the wearer the ability to ground themselves which is a way of restoring the body’s healthy electrical charge; this can be important as otherwise our connection with the planet is lost. It has been claimed that earthing helps to balance the nervous system, lower stress, reduce inflammation related pain, improve sleep and energy.
Over 30 lines now exist in our British footwear collection, the majority of these are moccasins but they do have a huge variation from full sheepskin, suede and lambswool, suede and cotton lining, leather lambswool, leather sheepskin, leather cotton lined, leather unlined and berber fleece loafer.
Some styles also consist of mules, boot slippers and scuffs so we have something to suit everyone.
